Preppo AI is operated by Creati Pty Ltd ACN 697 537 947 (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Australia. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and disclose it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following types of personal information:

• Waitlist registration: Name and email address provided when you join the Preppo AI waitlist.
• Account information: Name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account or sign in (including via Google OAuth).
• Usage data: Chat session content, questions asked, and interactions with the AI tutor, used to provide and improve the service.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and session identifiers collected automatically when you use the service.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 directly. Where a parent or guardian creates an account on behalf of a child, the parent or guardian is responsible for the information provided.

3. Why we collect your information

We collect and use personal information to:

• Provide the Preppo AI tutoring service;
• Send waitlist updates and product announcements (you may unsubscribe at any time);
• Personalise and improve AI coaching responses;
• Ensure the security and integrity of our platform;
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Disclosure of your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel, AWS);
• AI model providers used to power tutoring responses;
• Email communication platforms for waitlist and transactional emails;
• Authentication providers (e.g. Google OAuth via NextAuth).

All third-party providers are required to handle your information securely and only for the purpose for which it was shared. Some providers may be located outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure they comply with standards equivalent to the APPs.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Waitlist email addresses are retained until the waitlist closes or you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information;
• Request deletion of your personal information;
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time;
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au if you believe we have breached your privacy.

We use essential cookies and session tokens to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to use the platform.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on this page. Continued use of Preppo AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
